BEGINNING VOICE & VOCAL TRAINING FOR THE “NON-SINGER”
We provide a positive and encouraging atmosphere without judgment for anyone to experience and explore their own natural voice. The beginning voice student is taken through a course of self-discovery using easy, simple and very effective activities while focusing in the areas of:
Vocalizing
Listening and aural training
Body mechanics
Mental attitudes
The student is allowed to learn and grow at his/her own pace through a goal-oriented process. It is highly recommended that the voice student vocalize daily. (The shower and car are two places to start) Only personal feedback is provided (no comparisons are made to others) and is essential to promote a sense of empowerment and self motivation, and lessons are always taped. Please bring a blank audio tape to each lesson. With care and attention it is possible for any and all to experience the joy of singing. (Not everyone needs to sound like an “opera singer.”)
